Welcome to Home Front Pediatric Therapy!

Home Front is a pediatric occupational therapy practice that believes your child deserves therapy that meets them exactly where they are, literally and figuratively.

Our Promise to Your Family:
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Whether your child needs specialized equipment in our clinic, the comfort of their home environment, or support in their school setting, we'll work with you to determine what's clinically best for them.

What Makes Us Different

  • Most sessions take place in our Kenmore clinic, where we have sensory integration equipment, assessment tools, and a calm therapeutic space. We add home visits or school consultations when your child's goals call for it, like building skills within daily routines or addressing what's happening at home or in the classroom.

  • Through parent-contracted school consultations, we bring occupational therapy expertise into your child's classroom. We work directly with teachers and school teams on environmental assessments, practical strategies, and training that support your child's learning.

  • Our approach is grounded in Ayres Sensory Integration. Our founder, Kathryn, is pursuing advanced certification in Ayres Sensory Integration, and we stay current with the latest research so your child receives evidence-based care that helps them thrive in daily life.

  • Families juggle a lot: work, school, activities, life. We offer after-school and early evening appointments when possible, and we work to find times that fit your family without adding stress to an already-full schedule.

  • Children make the most progress when their parents are active participants in therapy. We welcome caregivers into every session, in the clinic or at home, and coach you on practical strategies you can use across all of your child's environments.

How to Get Started

  • Fill out our contact form, then complete a short screening form. You'll get an email confirming you're on our waitlist.

  • When a spot opens that fits your child's needs, we'll email you to offer it.

  • Once you accept your spot, we'll schedule a call to talk through your concerns and answer your questions.

  • Your child's evaluation takes place at our Kenmore clinic. Afterward, we'll build a plan together and get started.

Payment and Insurance

In Network: We're in network with Regence Blueshield and Premera Blue Cross. These are the only insurance plans we accept directly.

Out-of-Network: For all other insurance companies, we're an out-of-network provider. Here's what that means for you:

  • You pay at the time of service

  • We provide detailed superbills (itemized receipts with all necessary codes)

  • You submit the superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement

  • If you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance may reimburse you for a portion of the cost
