Expert Pediatric Occupational Therapy - Delivered in the Right Place For Your Child

At Home Front Pediatric Therapy, we provide specialized pediatric occupational therapy services through our innovative hybrid model. Currently offering home-based services and school consultation, we're expanding in January 2026 to include comprehensive evaluations and specialized interventions in our new professional clinic space. Working with children ages 3-12, we'll deliver therapy services in the setting that's most clinically appropriate for your child - whether that's our specialized clinic (opening January 2026), your family home, or through school consultation. Our personalized treatment plans help your child develop essential skills for daily life, learning, and play. We partner with families to create tailored solutions that celebrate each child's unique journey

Creating Success Together: What Makes Our Approach Different?

  • Our hybrid therapy model combines the comprehensive capabilities of our professional clinic with strategic home-based interventions when clinically indicated. Most therapy sessions take place in our specialized clinic space, providing access to sensory integration equipment, assessment tools, and controlled therapeutic environments. Home-based sessions are integrated into treatment plans when environmental factors are central to your child's goals, when family dynamics require direct observation and intervention, or when skills need to be developed and practiced within your child's natural daily routines. This approach ensures your child receives the most effective intervention in the optimal setting for their specific therapeutic needs.

  • Through parent-contracted school consultation services, we bring professional occupational therapy expertise into your child's educational environment. We work directly with your child's teachers and school team to provide environmental assessments, strategy development, and professional training that supports your child's learning success. Our consultation approach focuses on empowering educational teams with the knowledge and tools they need to create optimal learning conditions tailored to your child's unique developmental needs.

  • With advanced certifications and continuous professional development, we provide evidence-based interventions designed to help your child thrive in their daily life.

  • We understand that families have busy schedules, which is why we offer flexible appointment times including after-school hours and weekend slots. This accommodation allows parents to schedule their child's therapy sessions without disrupting school or work commitments, giving you options that fit seamlessly into your family's routine.

  • We believe that family involvement is essential to successful therapy outcomes, which is why we actively incorporate parents and caregivers into sessions—whether in our professional clinic space or during home-based interventions. We provide practical strategies and training that support your child's progress across all environments.

Getting Started With Individual Therapy

  • Fill out our contact form or send an email to kathryn@homefrontpeds.com to schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation. During this call we will discuss your concerns and together we will determine if OT services can help your child. We will schedule your child’s evaluation during this phone call.

  • After your phone call, we will send you pricing guides and intake paperwork to fill out. We require that all intake paperwork is filled out at least 72 hours before your child’s scheduled evaluation. This timeline ensures adequate preparation for a comprehensive, personalized assessment. If intake paperwork is not completed at least 72 hours in advance, your child’s evaluation will need to be rescheduled.

  • Your child’s evaluation will include a review of pertinent records, a discussion of caregiver concerns, observation, formal and/or informal assessments, and discussion of initial impressions and recommendations. You will receive a formal report of results and recommendations within 7-10 business days. Beginning in January 2026, all initial evaluations will occur in our clinic space in Kenmore, WA.

  • After your evaluation is complete, you will have a chance to ask any questions you may have, collaborate with your child’s therapist to determine an appropriate frequency of sessions, and discuss what to expect from your first session. Sessions will occur in our clinic space in Kenmore, WA starting in January 2026, with home visits provided when it is clinically indicated.

  • As an out-of network provider, we do not accept any form of insurance at this time. You will receive a monthly “superbill”, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
