Helping Children Thrive in Their Natural Environment
At Home Front Pediatric Therapy, we provide specialized pediatric occupational therapy services in the comfort of your home or in the local community. We also offer services in private schools with administration and teacher approval. Working with children ages 3-14, we offer personalized evaluations and treatment plans that help your child develop essential skills for daily life, learning, and play. We partner with families to create tailored solutions that celebrate each child's unique journey.

Creating Success Together: What Makes Our Approach Different?
-
Our in-home therapy model eliminates travel stress for families while allowing your child to develop skills in their natural environment. By observing and working within your actual living space, we create personalized strategies that seamlessly integrate into your family's daily routines.
-
Our specialized in-school occupational therapy services bring professional support directly to your child's learning environment, fostering collaboration with teachers while helping children develop essential skills right where they need them most. We offer flexible options for private schools, classroom consultations, and environmental assessments to create optimal learning conditions tailored to your child's unique needs.
-
With advanced certifications and continuous professional development, we provide evidence-based interventions designed to help your child thrive in their everyday environments.
-
We understand that families have busy schedules, which is why we offer flexible appointment times including after-school hours, weekend slots, and convenient in-school therapy sessions. This accommodation allows parents to schedule their child's therapy sessions without disrupting school or work commitments, giving you options that fit seamlessly into your family's routine.
-
We believe that family involvement is key to successful therapy outcomes, which is why we actively incorporate parents and caregivers into each session—whether at home, in school, or virtually—and provide practical strategies for continued progress across all environments. When appropriate, we involve siblings in therapeutic activities during home visits and collaborate with teachers during school-based sessions, creating a comprehensive support network where everyone in your child's life can participate in and celebrate their development.
Getting Started With Individual Therapy
-
Fill out our contact form or send an email to kathryn@homefrontpeds.com to schedule your free 15 minute phone consultation. During this call we will discuss your concerns and together we will determine if OT services can help your child.
-
After your phone call, we will send you pricing guides and intake paperwork to fill out. We require that all intake paperwork is filled out prior to scheduling your child’s evaluation. This is to ensure that there is enough time to review your intake paperwork and plan your child’s individualized evaluation.
-
After receiving your paperwork, we will reach out to you to review the evaluation plan, answer any questions, and schedule the initial evaluation.
-
Your child’s evaluation will include a review of pertinent records, a discussion of caregiver concerns, observation, formal and/or informal assessments, home environment analysis, and discussion of your therapist’s initial impressions and recommendations. If your child will receive school-based therapy, the evaluation will include collaboration with your child’s teacher and creation of a School Support Plan (SSP). You will receive a formal report of results and recommendations within 7-10 business days.
-
After your evaluation is complete, you will have a chance to ask any questions you may have, collaborate with your child’s therapist to determine an appropriate frequency of sessions, and discuss what to expect from your first session. For children receiving school-based therapy, there will be a School Support Plan meeting with you, your child’s teacher, your child’s therapist, and any support staff that are directly involved in your child’s education.
